The Recover Ukraine 2024 conference brought together more than 120 European charitable and civil society organizations in Berlin to help Ukraine.

The event was attended by government officials and public figures from Germany, Ukraine, Finland, Lithuania, Austria, Slovakia, Spain, and other countries.

Natalia Tulinova, the founder of ZDOROVI, was a speaker at the conference in the "recovery advocacy" sector and shared the cases of ZDOROVI, which, since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, has taken a position of responsible leadership to support and restore Ukrainian medicine. Over the past two years, the ZDOROVI team has delivered more than 2,000 valuable medical supplies to hospitals and clinics that have supported the ability of the medical system to operate in war conditions. Natalia Tulinova shared the experience of the national charitable organization ZDOROVI's interaction with more than 70 foreign donors, the experience of managing large volumes of humanitarian aid, and transparent distribution and reporting.

The ZDOROVI team conducts a large-scale survey of the medical industry called Barometer on a quarterly basis to identify the real needs of hospitals in all regions of the country and to establish effective work with foreign donors to meet these needs.

According to Natalia Tulinova: "Our experience of working in critical conditions helps us to make quick decisions, setting up processes in such a way that the aid is as effective as possible. We do not have theoretical experience of working as a charitable organization in a war, all our experience is practical and is born in conditions of constant risk and tension. This fosters the ability to focus on what is important and cut out the unnecessary, to build work focused on saving lives and counteracting the consequences of war. That's why our cases impress colleagues from other countries with their extensive content and real results."

The pre-conference in Berlin was an important milestone on the way to the main conference in June 2024. The results and recommendations of this event will make a significant contribution to the upcoming Ukraine Recovery Conference and help develop targeted recovery strategies.

ZDOROVI's large-scale humanitarian work is carried out in cooperation with international partners, including ISAR Ednannia, RAZOM for UKRAINE, NOVA Ukraine, Americares, Philips, the Dutch Refugee Council, GIZ, Projecten Vastenactie and other charitable foundations and organizations.
