Putin wants to engage in mining at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant together with the US

At a meeting with business representatives, Putin mentioned the situation surrounding the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant. According to him, discussions are underway with the US on joint management of the facility without Ukraine's participation, Kommersant reports.

He specified that the US is interested in organizing mining at the ZNPP.

At the initiative of the US, the parties are considering electricity supplies to Ukraine. He also noted that Ukrainian specialists continue to work at the plant, but now they have Russian passports.
