US irritated by Kremlin statements

Keith Kellogg, the US President's special representative for Ukraine and Russia, called the latest comments by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on the state of the Ukrainian-Russian talks an Orwellian-style distortion of reality, RBC-Ukraine reported.

He noted that the Russian side's statements that the US and Ukraine are delaying peace talks have no basis. He recalled that President Donald Trump has consistently and persistently advocated for progress in ending the war.

"We call for an immediate ceasefire and a move to trilateral talks to end the war. Russia cannot continue to stall while attacking civilian targets in Ukraine," Kellogg emphasized.
