Trump did not go into detail about the peace plan

The official spoke of chaos in the American administration, according to The Washington Post.

“It was absolute chaos all day because even different parts of the White House don't know what's going on. It's embarrassing,” he said.

Privately, the Trump administration did not view the plan as set in stone.

“The Ukrainians were told there was some room for negotiation,” the source said.

Washington wants to reach an agreement as soon as possible, and the threat of suspending US aid is quite serious.

Questions remain as to whether Trump's team will be able to reach an agreement with Ukrainian and European partners before the deadline set by the US, i.e., before Thanksgiving.
