The United Kingdom and Canada have expressed their support for Trump

"The Prime Minister spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney this afternoon. They discussed their unwavering support for Ukraine and their ongoing work to stop the killings and end Russia's aggressive war. Both leaders emphasized that Ukraine's future must be one of freedom, sovereignty, and self-determination," the UK government said.

They praised the international efforts led by US President Donald Trump to establish peace: “They welcomed the ongoing international efforts led by President Trump to establish peace and agreed that it must be achieved together with Ukraine, not imposed on it.”

Both leaders agreed to continue working closely with President Trump and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the coming days.
