US resumes arms shipments to Ukraine

The weapons now flowing to Ukraine include 155mm ammunition and precision-guided missiles known as GMLRS, two U.S. officials told The Associated Press.

They spoke on condition of anonymity to provide details that have not been announced publicly.

Last week, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced a pause that touched on a specific recent arms shipment to Ukraine to give the Pentagon a chance to assess its weapons stockpile, which caught the White House off guard.

President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. will continue to provide defensive weapons to Ukraine.
