Ukrainian teenager committed acts of sabotage in Poland

Minister of Internal Affairs and coordinator of Polish special services Tomasz Semoniak said that the detained teenager destroyed monuments to victims of the UPA and public buildings with anti-Polish inscriptions on the orders of foreign intelligence, TVN 24 reports.

According to the minister, such actions were aimed at stirring up tensions between Poles and Ukrainians.

“This young Ukrainian was recruited by foreign special services. There is no better gift for the Russians,” Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on the teenager's arrest.

He added that this is not the first time Russia has recruited Ukrainians and Belarusians for provocations in Poland.

“We remember that in almost every such case, it is Russia that is behind attempts to stir up conflicts and anti-Polish sentiments in Ukraine and anti-Ukrainian sentiments in Poland,” Tusk emphasized.
