Ukraine to receive €90 billion

The decision was made after the EU rejected the option of a “reparation loan,” which had been discussed for a long time, according to European Truth.

“We have agreed. The decision to provide Ukraine with €90 billion in support for 2026-27 has been approved. We made a commitment and we have fulfilled it,” said European Council President António Costa.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz clarified that the funds will also go towards Kyiv's military needs.

“These funds are sufficient to cover Ukraine's military and budgetary needs for the next two years. This is a decisive signal for ending the war, as Putin will only make concessions when he realizes that his war will not benefit him,” he said.
