There will be no Third World War over Ukraine, - Trump

Trump spoke about his recent phone call with Putin and plans to meet with him in Hungary. According to him, the talks are aimed at finding ways to end the war.

“I got into this situation — I didn't start this war. It's Biden's doing. And I came in, and it was a complete mess that would have led to World War III. In my opinion, it could have happened. But it won't,” Trump emphasized.

He noted that he intends to save lives and promote peace in Europe. According to him, the Biden administration made strategic mistakes that led to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, whereas during his presidency, such aggression would not have happened.

"I'm doing this to save souls. That's all I'm doing it for. I'm not doing it for us — there's an ocean between us. But I want to help Europe. They want the war to end, but they can't do it. And I can," Trump said.

Separately, the US president touched on the topic of relations between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia, calling them terrible, which makes it difficult to organize joint meetings.
