The Russian army has captured the village of Shevchenko in Donetsk region.

By seizing this village, located just over 10 kilometers from Velyka Novoselka, Russian troops have gained access to one of the most promising lithium deposits in Ukraine, Le Figaro reported.

The deposit has some of the largest reserves in Eastern Europe - about 1.2 million tons of ore with a lithium fraction of more than 1.5%.
