Russian Federation demands Ukraine to ‘clear obstacles’ for talks

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Kiev should take certain legal steps to “clear obstacles” to start a dialog with Moscow, RBC-Ukraine reported.

“If Ukraine is willing and open, Kiev should take steps that will legally clear obstacles for negotiations with Russia,” Peskov said, commenting on the Russian dictator's statement about the possibility of discussing a moratorium on strikes on civilian infrastructure.

He added that the Russian President has repeatedly declared openness to negotiations and considers Putin's words as another confirmation of this position.
