Russia has trump cards in peace talks - Trump

He said he believes Moscow wants to see an end to the war, which Russia started by carrying out a full-scale invasion nearly three years ago, BBC reported.

“I think the Russians want the war to end, I really do. I think they have trump cards because they have taken over a lot of territory. They have trump cards,” he said.

Asked if he believes Russia wants peace, Trump replied, “Yes.”
