Orban initiates poll on Ukraine

Speaking to reporters after an emergency summit of all 27 EU leaders in Brussels, at which Hungary was the only country that did not support a joint statement in favor of arming Ukraine, Orban said his government would poll Hungarians on their support for Kiev's accession to the EU, Politico reported.

“We have a so-called national consultation scheme that we regularly use to find out what the people think, so we will use the same scheme now,” he said.
