"You know, we call it the Department of Defense, but between you and me, I think we're going to change the name. If you want to know the truth, I think we'll have some information on that, maybe soon," he said.

He noted that the US had an incredible history of victories when it was the War Department.

“When we won World War I and World War II, it was called the War Department. And for me, that's really what it is,” he said.

Trump does not want to limit himself to defense alone.

“We want offense as well. This change will probably be made within the next week or so,” the US president added.
