“Ukrainians want peace, but Putin has a different opinion. He is proving it with strikes on energy infrastructure and also by the fact that last week he announced a new draft of 160,000 soldiers, the biggest draft in the last 14 years. So Vladimir Putin is definitely not showing a desire for a truce and negotiations,” the minister said.

He believes that Ukraine made an important concession when it agreed to the US offer of an unconditional ceasefire, while Russia is acting contrary to this agreement by continuing strikes on energy infrastructure and war crimes, and is not giving a definitive answer on the readiness for a ceasefire.
