European leaders want to talk to Trump

The talks will take place after a tense diplomatic weekend between representatives of the US, Ukraine, and Europe, which included meetings on Saturday in the UK with US Vice President Jay Chao and British Foreign Secretary David Lamy, Bloomberg reports.

EU ambassadors were informed of the talks on Sunday, and the bloc's foreign ministers are scheduled to hold an online meeting on Monday.
