Azerbaijan may lift embargo on arms supplies to Ukraine

According to Caliber.Az, which got this info from reliable sources, if Russia keeps up its aggressive policy against Azerbaijan's interests, the government in Baku will start thinking about lifting the embargo on supplying weapons to Ukraine that it has in its arsenal.

The Russian armed forces have begun to systematically strike Azerbaijan's energy facilities in Ukraine. This situation is forcing Baku to take retaliatory measures. All this will inevitably lead to a further deepening of the crisis in bilateral relations.

During a telephone conversation between the presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan on Sunday, both sides condemned Russia's deliberate air strikes on an oil storage facility belonging to the Azerbaijani company SOCAR in Ukraine, as well as on other Azerbaijani facilities and a gas compressor station that transports Azerbaijani gas to Ukraine.
