North Korea is responsible for Russia's war against Ukraine

“It's quite simple. North Korea is not helpful. They are not helpful. There are other countries that are also contributing to the carnage and their actions make it possible for it to continue. Third countries like North Korea perpetuated the Russia-Ukraine war, and they are responsible,” said U.S. State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce.

The U.S. is concerned about North Korea's direct involvement in the war.

“North Korea's military deployment to Russia and any support provided by Russian Federation to the DPRK in response must stop,” Bruce said.

She emphasized that Russia's training of North Korean soldiers directly violates a number of Security Council resolutions that together impose a broad prohibition on providing or receiving military training or assistance to or from the DPRK.
