American military aircraft crashes in Iraq

"US Central Command is aware of the loss of a US KC-135 tanker aircraft. The incident occurred in friendly airspace during Operation Epic Fury, and rescue efforts are currently underway. Two aircraft were involved in the incident. One of the aircraft crashed in western Iraq, while the other landed safely. This was not the result of hostile or friendly fire," CENTCOM said.

Details of the incident are being investigated, and additional information will be provided later.
