The US Department of the Treasury has removed certain companies that sold sanctioned equipment to Russia, including in the defense sector, from its list of restrictions.

Among these companies are Cyprus-based Veles International Limited and its owner Dmitry Bugaenko. It is a subsidiary of an investment company based in Moscow. Moscow-based legal entities of this organization remain under sanctions, according to the US Treasury Department.

The US has lifted sanctions imposed on Dubai-based 365 Days Freight Services FZCO and Turkish company Etasis, which exported sanctioned equipment to Russia for use in its military-industrial complex.
