Trump demands Putin stop shooting and sign agreement

Trump expressed his disappointment regarding Putin over the missile strike on Kiev and said he could not confidently say whether the Russian leader was serious about ending the war.

“We'll see what happens in the next few days. We'll probably find out a lot. I was very disappointed that the missiles were coming from Russia,” Trump said.

He said Putin must show a willingness to end the war.

“I want him to stop shooting, sit down at the negotiating table and sign an agreement. We have the basis for an agreement, I believe, and I want him to sign it, to end it, and just go back to normal life,” he added.
