Trump ate European Commission president for breakfast - Orban

Orban said the EU had caved in to US demands in trade negotiations, European Pravda reported.

"Even at a glance it is obvious that this is not an agreement. It doesn't look like President Trump making an agreement with Ursula von der Leyen, it looks like Donald Trump ate von der Leyen for breakfast. That's what happened, and that's what we suspected. Because the US president is a heavyweight negotiator and Madam President is a featherweight," he said.

He noted that the US president's position is much stronger and the position of the European Commission president is always weaker.

"The Americans recently made a similar agreement with Britain, and it is much better than this one. Therefore, the European agreement is worse than the British one, and later it will be difficult to talk about it as a success," Orban said.
