US refuses to fund search for Ukrainian children abducted by Russian Federation

“The data is protected. We have protected the data. We will hand them over to the appropriate party. We've secured it. And we'll be able to say that next week. We've already reported it. If we haven't, we're going to report it to Congress,” Rubio said.

Asked if the program to find abducted children would be re-launched, he said, “No, we are not - the program is not funded. It was part of the cuts that were made, but we have protected the data and made sure that we have it and it can be turned over to any appropriate agencies and we will release it to Congress,” Interfax-Ukraine reported.
