US President Donald Trump has said that the Justice Department should focus on other matters after the release of materials related to the Jeffrey Epstein case.

“If you look at the Justice Department, they announced that they released three million pages. It seems like that's all they have to do. And honestly, I think the Justice Department should just say, ‘We have other things to do,’” he said.

"Not only was I not friends with Jeffrey Epstein, but according to information that has just been released by the Department of Justice, Epstein and a despicable, lying author named Michael Wolff conspired to harm me and/or my presidency. Furthermore, unlike many people who like to spread nonsense, I have never been to Epstein's vile island, but almost all of these dishonest Democrats and their sponsors have been there," he said.
