Trump bans russian ships from entering U.S. ports

A White House statement notes that this regime was previously introduced by former U.S. President Joe Biden on April 21, 2022. He authorized the Secretary of Homeland Security to regulate the docking and movement of ships associated with Russia.

“The policies and actions of the Government of the Russian Federation continue to pose an extraordinary threat due to violations or threats of violations of the United States’ international relations,” the statement reads.
