The war in Ukraine is a source of constant disappointment, - Vance

US Vice President Jay D. Vance has called the failure to reach an agreement to end Russia's war against Ukraine the biggest disappointment of his time in office.

"Look, the situation between Russia and Ukraine is a source of constant frustration, I think, for the entire White House. We really believed — and you've heard the president say this a million times — that this would be the easiest war to resolve. And if you said that peace in the Middle East was easier to achieve than peace in Eastern Europe, I would say you were crazy," Vance said in an interview with NBS News.

Vance added that he remains optimistic.

“I really believe we've made significant progress, but we're not there yet. I think there's hope — hopefully in the coming weeks we'll see some good news in that direction,” he said.
