Russian Federation has set conditions for an end to energy and Black Sea strikes

Moscow during talks in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, put forward conditions for an end to energy strikes and fighting in the Black Sea. One of the demands is the lifting of sanctions, Ukrainska Pravda reported.

“Some of these conditions include sanctions that are not ours. They are imposed by the European Union. So when our people come back, we will sit down at the table, discuss the proposals, get their impressions from the conversations to better understand what Russia's position is and what they want to get in return,” he said.

He noted that the very fact of discussing the ceasefire was a positive signal.

“I think it's good that both the Ukrainians and the Russians are talking about a ceasefire, either energy or perhaps in the Black Sea,” Rubio emphasized.
