Rubio names the next US president

US President Donald Trump has nominated Rubio as a possible successor to his MAGA movement, Fox News reports.

Rubio was asked if he would run in the 2028 election if Trump wanted him to. However, according to the US Secretary of State, someone else will lead the movement.

"I believe that the next Republican candidate will be the vice president, if he decides to run. He is a good friend of mine and is doing an excellent job," Rubio said.

He added that they have an excellent team and that they all work for the president.

Rubio's job is foreign policy. However, there is no area of domestic policy in which he does not have some knowledge or ability to give sound advice.

“Let's be clear about this, okay? The president's job and mine are what people sometimes confuse. Our job is to implement the president's agenda. Can we give advice? Can we offer ideas? Yes. But ultimately, he is the man the American people elected,” Rubio said.
