Putin wants to seize southern and eastern regions of Ukraine

Putin said that Moscow had offered Ukraine to withdraw its troops from Donbas and refrain from military action, but Kyiv chose to fight, RBC-Ukraine reports.

“Russia will liberate Donbas and Novorossiya in any case, by military or other means,” Putin said.
