Putin ignored Trump's request, - Zelensky

"The Russians have once again disregarded the efforts of the American side. The President of the United States requested that strikes on energy facilities and critical infrastructure be refrained from, as you are aware, during the meeting between our negotiating teams, and the American President stated that strikes should be refrained from for a week. This was a very important decision. In fact, it began on Friday night, and tonight, in our view, the Russians have broken their promise. Either Russia now believes that a week is less than four days instead of seven, or they are really betting on war and simply waited for the coldest days of this winter, when temperatures in a significant part of Ukraine are below -20˚ Celsius," he said.

He stressed that the Russians have now struck with 71 missiles and 450 drones, that is, they have increased the number of missiles and UAVs to attack at the coldest moment, Ukrainian Truth reports.

He assured that he would be in contact with the American side regarding this shelling and hoped that partners would not remain silent about what is happening in Ukraine.
