Negotiations in Geneva have reached an impasse due to Medinsky

“Two informed sources told me that negotiations in the political group in Geneva today have ‘reached an impasse,’” wrote Barak Ravid, a journalist for the American portal Axios.

The reason was the positions presented by Medinsky.

On February 17, the delegations of Ukraine, the US, and Russia in Geneva concluded the first day of negotiations in the political and military blocks. The groups will continue their work on the morning of February 18. Statements from the parties are expected following the negotiations.
