Murders and executions have stopped in Iran, - Trump

"We have received information that murders and executions are stopping and there are no plans for executions. We will check this out — if it turns out to be untrue, we will be very disappointed," he said.

Trump noted that this information came to him from a very important partner on the other side. He specified that quite a few executions were planned for today, but they allegedly will not take place.

"That's what I've been told, and I have good sources. We will find out. I am sure that if it does happen, we will all be very upset, and you will be very upset too. But I have just been told that the killings have been stopped, the executions have been stopped. They are not going to carry out the execution that many have been talking about for the last couple of days. Today was supposed to be the day of the execution," he said.
