Israel has agreed to a ceasefire with Iran

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tel Aviv will respond strongly to any violation of the ceasefire with Iran, Sky News reported.

Israel said it had achieved its goal of eliminating Iran's nuclear and ballistic threat and thanked White House chief Donald Trump for his defense support and engagement.

U.S. President Donald Trump said the ceasefire has gone into effect and called on Iran and Israel not to violate the ceasefire.

"The ceasefire is now in effect. Please do not violate it!“ he wrote.” he wrote.
