Ukraine's G7 partners will meet with US President Donald Trump in Davos to secure his personal support for security guarantees for Kyiv after the ceasefire.

Officials are negotiating the details of the meeting, which is scheduled for January 21 and may include other leaders of the “coalition of the willing.” According to officials, national security advisers from the coalition plan to hold a separate meeting, the Financial Times reports.

According to one European official who participated in the negotiations ahead of Davos, without the agreement of the US, it will be impossible to implement the deployment of multinational forces, which the UK and France had previously promised Ukraine.
