Forever youthful Zendaya turns 29

Zendaya Marie Stoermer Coleman was born into a theatrical family – her mother worked as a manager at the California Shakespeare Theater in Orange County, which is part of the Los Angeles conglomerate. And where there is Los Angeles, there is Hollywood. You could say that the girl’s biography was almost predetermined from birth – all that was needed was talent and beauty.

Young Zendaya had both – as well as a business sense. After participating in the production of Shakespearean plays, the girl took a more modern path – she became a model, danced, sang (professionally – her song Watch Me was included in the Billboard Hot 100 list), played in TV series, participated in TV shows and, finally, debuted with her Daya shoe collection. In the language of marketing, Zendaya diversified her talents in a variety of areas of show business.

But her real fame only began in 2016, when she starred in the film "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Three years later, success was repeated in the film "Spider-Man: Far From Home," and then the trailer for the new film "Spider-Man: No Way Home" with her participation set a new world record for the number of views per day.

So, from a commercial point of view, Zendaya was doing well with one exception - even at 25, she still remained in the role of a teenager - not only in the "Spider-Man" franchise (Tom Holland, by the way, became her partner in life), but in the series "Euphoria", for which Zendaya received two Emmy Awards in the category "Best Actress in a Drama Series."

However, it seems that the transition to the adult league has finally happened - Zendaya starred in the leading role in the sports romantic drama by the famous arthouse director Luca Guandagnino "The Contenders", where, as she herself said, she had the opportunity to play a woman close to her real age. She used it successfully, judging by the nomination for the "Golden Globe".

She has several more arthouse projects ahead, as well as continued participation in "Euphoria" (already the third season), the fourth "Spider-Man", as well as "The Odyssey" by Christopher Nolan. In addition, she has already tried herself as a producer - and she liked it.
