Anya Taylor-Joy celebrates her birthday tomorrow

Fans of Hollywood cinema may have noticed that in recent years the "star factory" has failed to achieve its main goal. For example, Timothée Chalamet or Tom Holland are not up to the level of, for example, Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp, and they are already over 60 years old.

The same story is with women. No matter how hard the media tries to emphasize, when talking about the failed "Snow White", that Rachel Zegler did a great job with the role, everyone understands that, firstly, this is not true, and, secondly, it was with her ridiculous statements on social networks that Zegler contributed to the film's failure among viewers.

Anya Taylor-Joy, who turns 29 tomorrow, is a slightly different example in the sense that she is not interested in politics. However, she has another problem - having received several awards in the category of "most promising young actress" back in 2017, she has hardly advanced further, since she played in films that, at the very least, were not successful with the audience. Including the widely advertised "Furiosa".

Here, by the way, her acting fate is similar to another "star" in her youth and almost the same age as Elle Fanning in the biopic about Bob Dylan, who was promoted to the Oscars with all her might, but to no avail. Moreover, both actresses cannot be blamed for anything - their roles were written so poorly that they had nothing to play.

The exception was "The Queen's Gambit", for which Taylor-Joy received several awards, including the Golden Globe. The series brought her fame - and perhaps she will still be able to repeat this success. In any case, several projects with her participation have been announced.

And yet, it is interesting - why and at what stage did Hollywood forget how to fulfill its main task?
