Putin wants Ukraine to succeed, - Trump

Trump was asked whether he and the Kremlin leader had discussed what responsibility Russia would bear for any reconstruction of Ukraine after a potential peace agreement, according to European Truth.

“Yes. And they will help. Russia will help. Russia wants Ukraine to succeed. It sounds a little strange, but I explained it to Putin,” he replied.

According to the American president, Putin was allegedly “very generous in his feelings about Ukraine's success,” including the supply of electricity and other things at very low prices.

“So, today's call brought many good results,” Trump added.
