Putin wants to end the war, - Trump

He described the meeting between his representatives and Putin, which took place on December 2 in Moscow, as good, according to European Truth.

“President Putin had a good meeting with Jared Kushner and Steve Whitcoff. I can't tell you what will come out of this meeting because it takes two to tango,” Trump said.

"When I was in this office and talked about not having any cards, that was the best time to settle. But they decided not to do it. Now there are many things against them," he said.

Trump added that a lot of work had been done with Ukraine and they were satisfied.

He answered affirmatively to a follow-up question about whether Kushner and Whitcoff had the impression that Putin wanted peace.

"He would like to end the war — that was their impression. I think he would like to return to normal life, trade with the US instead of losing thousands of soldiers every week. They had a strong impression that he wanted to make a deal," Trump said.
