Mobilization in Ukraine prevents the war from ending, - Szijjártó

Szijjártó mentioned the detention in Ukraine of a Hungarian man who tried to help five Ukrainian men flee to Hungary.

He said that the Hungarian consulate in Berehove immediately provided consular protection to the detainee and is assisting him during the investigation.

“This case also clearly shows that the war must be ended as soon as possible and that forced conscription must be stopped immediately,” he said.

He mentioned the many Ukrainian men who, according to him, are desperately trying to flee Ukraine to avoid conscription and, with it, being sent to the front and likely death.

The Ukrainian State Border Service is using all means to detain violators.
