EU approves 17th package of sanctions against Russia

The sanctions cover Russia's “shadow fleet” - almost 200 vessels, including oil tankers, have fallen under the restrictions, European Pravda reported.

The EU approved the imposition of sanctions against about 30 new companies involved in circumventing sanctions (especially in relation to dual-use goods).

The EU approved 75 new individual sanctions against individuals and entities linked to Russia's military-industrial complex.

Ambassadors approved additional sanctions against Russia for human rights violations, hybrid intervention around the world and chemical weapons proliferation.
