Difficult to find common ground with Zelensky - Trump

"In my opinion, Russia is ready. A lot of people said that Russia is ready to go for anything. But I think we have an agreement with Russia. We need to reach an agreement with Zelensky. And I hope that Zelensky ... I thought it would be easier to reach an agreement with him, but so far it's been more difficult. But it's okay, it's all good. And I think we have an agreement with both sides. I hope they will accept it. We're spending a lot of money. But this is about humanity here," he said.

Trump criticized Joe Biden's administration for massive spending to support Ukraine.

"We're spending hundreds of billions of dollars because of Biden. Biden should never have allowed this war to happen. We're spending hundreds of billions, probably $350 billion dollars that we gave to Ukraine, and we could use that money right here," Trump said.
