Did Trump know about special operation “Spider Web”, the White House responded

When asked how US President Donald Trump assesses the SBU special operation to defeat Russian strategic aviation, White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said that the head of state positively assesses the process of peace talks in Istanbul, reports “RBC-Ukraine”.

“Trump is a realist and realizes that Ukraine and Russia have long been at war because of the weakness and incompetence of his predecessors,” Levitt said.

Responding to another question about the SBU's Operation Web, she added that Trump does not want this war to drag on.

“He wants the fighting to stop, he wants people to stop dying and he wants this issue to be resolved at the negotiating table,” Levitt noted.

She confirmed that the US President was not informed in advance about the special operation on the territory of Russia.
