The White House has named the objectives of Operation Epic Fury

Levitt emphasized that on February 28, President Donald Trump issued a statement setting out clear objectives for the American people regarding Operation Epic Fury.

Among the main objectives of the operation are the destruction of Iran's missile industry, the elimination of the regime's navy, the blocking of terrorist proxy structures and improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.

" Preventing threats from this radical regime and its terrorist leaders is a clear and necessary goal. Destroying terrorists is good for America. Forty-nine senior leaders of the Iranian regime, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, have already been wiped off the face of the earth," she said.

Levitt emphasized that despite the fact that the previous US operation, “Northern Hammer,” destroyed Iran's main nuclear facilities, the regime was fully committed to rebuilding its nuclear program and refused to negotiate.
