Zelensky wants to hold elections

“I would be happy if the elections were already over. So we could finally put this issue to rest, because it leads to nothing but brawls and political appeals, posters, etc.,” Zelensky said.

“The main thing is that they give me the opportunity to end the war, and not split the country before that. That is my only request to everyone,” he said, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
