And then someone will throw up, and someone will like it.

Movies about zombies usually belong to the "B" category. The famous director Danny Boyle (8 "Oscars" for "Slumdog Millionaire", including awards for best film and director) in "28 Years Later" tried to transfer his film to the "A" category - and achieved partial success.

Partial - because, let's say, the "philosophical part" at the end of the film with its bombast out of nowhere gives the impression of a parody. However, when the viewer is already dreaming that all this pseudo-philosophical bad taste has ended, Boyle suddenly switches to pure punk.

In all other respects, that is, before the "philosophical part", the film is quite standard in its plot - there are always a lot of zombies, they always run fast (however, there are also crawling ones). What is non-standard is such an abundance of blood, wounds, torn flesh, etc., that it would be enough for several films.

That's why "28 Years Later" should be watched in a movie theater, where you can't constantly turn away from the huge screen. And then someone will throw up, and someone will like it...
