The Rada ratified a 100-year agreement with the United Kingdom

According to the Verkhovna Rada, 295 MPs voted in favor of the decision.

The document establishes a new long-term framework for bilateral cooperation in the areas of security, defense, economy, science, technology, and cultural ties.

The agreement provides for a significant increase in military support: the United Kingdom undertakes to provide Ukraine with military assistance worth at least £3.6 billion annually until the 2030/31 financial year and thereafter as necessary.

This includes training Ukrainian military personnel, supporting pilots, supplying military aircraft, expanding cooperation in the production of defense products, and engaging in joint expeditionary cooperation, such as the Joint Expeditionary Force.
