The conditions for sending European troops to Ukraine have been named in NATO

“First, there must be an absolute ceasefire that both sides will adhere to. Second, there needs to be a strong mandate, preferably under the auspices of the UN. Third, it must be a credible, multinational force that will not only consist of European troops, and will be of sufficient size to ensure a substantial presence along the entire Russian-Ukrainian border,” said the head of NATO's Military Committee, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone.

In his opinion, the main security guarantee for Ukraine will remain its Armed Forces, as they have reached an extremely high level of effectiveness during the three years of war, thanks to their resilience and the support they have received, and continue to strengthen, RBC-Ukraine reported.

Ukraine will continue to receive important assistance from a number of countries in the form of weapons, training and interoperability. This will allow it to rebuild the capabilities that were depleted by the war and reorganize its Armed Forces to provide the necessary deterrence to prevent new aggression.

“A sustainable peace is needed after the war. It cannot be another 'Minsk-3'. Russia must not use the ceasefire to regroup and must never again try to seize a single square centimeter of Ukrainian land. This is why NATO allies are providing such significant support to Ukraine. This is important not only for the security of Ukraine, but also for the security of the whole of Europe and the world,” he said.
