Putin is ready to meet with Zelensky

Zelensky, in his opinion, has no legal authority to sign any international documents, Ukrainska Pravda reported.

"We do not care who is negotiating, I am even ready to meet. But when the final stage is finalized, the signature should stand for the legitimate authority," Putin said.

In explaining his position, Putin once again referred to a provision of the Ukrainian Constitution, where it is allegedly written that Zelensky's powers have already expired.

Putin said that Ukraine is allegedly a presidential-parliamentary republic, in which all bodies of power are formed by the President, which, in his opinion, automatically calls into question the legitimacy of the entire Ukrainian government.
