Putin's special envoy arrives in the United States

Dmitriev is currently in the United States meeting with members of the Donald Trump administration to discuss the Ukraine peace agreement and economic cooperation between the United States and Russia, Reuters reports.

Dmitriev's visit comes ahead of the US decision to extend the easing of sanctions on Russian oil, which expire on April 11, and this issue may also be on the agenda.
