Iran scares the U.S. with a full-scale war

The statement came amid reports that US President Donald Trump is mulling backing Israel and striking Iranian nuclear facilities, Sky News reported.

"Any US intervention would be a reason to launch a full-scale war in the region," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmael Baghaei said.

Asked if he believes the US can control its ally Israel, Baghaei said, "Not really."
